OK! i just talked to the raft people. all we need is the raft... we'll tie it to the top of the suburban and go from there and then park something else 7 miles down the river and pick it up. it takes about 3- 3 1/2 hours and it's really mild so we won't need a guide or anything like that. we will want to reserve the raft ahead of time so we need to pick a day and get that taken care of. it's $90 for the 10 person raft.
